Leadership Exploration: Begins Fall 2026: Dates to be announced
Customized for employees with 1-3 years of professional experience. Cohort meets monthly for 1 semester for 2 hours.
Curriculum includes:
- Leadership Traits and Characteristics
- Leading from your position
- Professional Foundations
- Interpersonal Skills & Emotional Intelligence
- Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving
- Professionalism and Networking
- Leadership Exploration and Development Plan
Emerging Leadership Development: Begins Fall 2026- Dates to be announced
Customized for employees who have not supervised professional employees and have 3+ years of professional experience. Cohort meets monthly for 1 semester for 2 hours.
Curriculum Includes:
- Exploring the Top Skills for possible supervisors
- Self-Awareness
- Stretch Assignments
- Leading from your position
Supervisor Development: New dates for Fall 2026 to be announced
Customized for current supervisors of professional employees. Cohort meets three times over the semester for a total of 12 hours.
Curriculum includes:
- Leading with Emotional Intelligence
- Providing quality feedback and having difficult conversations
- Engaging Your Employees
Chancellor’s Leadership Institute: Begins Fall 2026
Customized for employees with 5+ years of professional experience and 3+ years of UNCW experience. Cohort commits to a 10-month experience meeting once a month from 9am-5pm. Participants must apply and be accepted. See Chancellor’s website for more details.
